U.S. Open 2022: How to Watch and Bet

The first tee at the 2022 US Open is now just a day away as the 122nd edition will be live from the historic The Country Club in Brookline, MA. One of the founding charter members of the United States Golf Association (USGA), The Country Club will play as tough as it is beautiful, and should provide for yet another great US Open.

Let’s take a closer look at how you can tune into and get down all of the action.

How can you watch the US Open?

NBC and its family of networks will play host this week to all the action in Brookline, as their streaming service Peacock will have the most inclusive coverage beginning bright and early (6:43 AM EST) on Thursday morning. Peacock will also show featured groups and featured holes, with holes 11-13 having dedicated coverage throughout the weekend.

To tune in to Peacock’s services, you’ll have to sign up for a subscription and view either through a web browser or app which you can download on your smartphone, Roku, Apple TV, and more.  Peacock’s coverage will also include “Live from the US Open” for around 12 hours each day Thursday-Sunday which will provide in-depth coverage from The Country Club grounds.

From player and caddie interviews to weather forecasts and course analysis, “Live from the US Open” is where the golf junkies should head to get immersive coverage from early Thursday to late Sunday.

For those who have yet to cut the chord, the US Open will be streamed through traditional cable on USA Network, NBC Sports, and NBC. Below is a quick breakdown of the coverage each day.

All times EST

Round 1: 9:30 AM-2:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on USA Network and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM on NBC Sports

Round 2: 9:30 AM-4:00 PM on USA Network and 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on NBC Sports

Round 3: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM on NBC

Round 4: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on USA Network and 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM on NBC

Where can you bet on the US Open?

There is no shortage of sportsbooks providing extensive betting options for the 2022 US Open, it’s just a matter of who provides the best number for the bet you’re wanting to make. As announced early this year, FanDuel is the PGA Tour’s official betting operator and has the official United States rights to use the PGA Tour in advertisements.

DraftKings, the Tour’s former official partner, also has no shortage of advertisements, with the two becoming the powerhouses here in the United States. No matter what you’re betting this weekend or where your primary sportsbook is, the key part is having at least 1-2 others to shop for the best number.
