If you place a NRFI bet and the teams are held scoreless through one frame, you win! On the flip side, if you place a YRFI bet and a player crosses the plate, you win! Let’s take a look at the top NRFI and YRFI odds and picks for today.

This is a roll of the dice with Patrick Corbin on the mound for Washington, but he’s strung together a few solid outings. It’s worth the gamble at even money with Ian Anderson very likely to post a goose egg against the Nationals in the first.

Bet: Braves vs. Nationals NRFI (+100 BetMGM)

Red Sox @ Yankees (o/u 0.5) – First Inning Total Runs

Nathan Eovaldi will return to the mound, and once again, he is having a terrific season for Boston. He’s allowed three or fewer runs in 11 of 12 outings this season, including six quality starts with a 3.16 ERA and a 1.098 WHIP. He’s had one start already at Yankee Stadium on Opening Day, pitching five innings and allowing three runs in a no-decision.

Jordan Montgomery will go for the Yankees, and after getting shelled recently against the Rays and Athletics, he’s pitched better over his last two starts. One of those was against the Red Sox last week where he allowed two earned in 5.2 innings in a no-decision.

Bet: Yankees vs. Red Sox NRFI (-130 BetMGM)

Mets @ Cubs (o/u 0.5) – First Inning Total Runs

Taijuan Walker is on the mound, and after ten seasons in the league, he’s having a breakout season as a full-time starter. He has a career-best 2.63 ERA and has been fantastic over his last six starts going 4-0 with a 1.85 ERA and averaging a little over nine strikeouts per nine.

Marcus Stroman will be on the mound for Chicago, and this game might feel slightly different to him. This will be the first time he’s faced the Mets since not re-signing this past offseason. Stroman has since taken some digs at his former team saying: “I’m beyond thankful I’m gone from that organization” and “I’m going to dominate wherever I end up!” The first part might be true because he’s struggled for most of the season with a 4.91 ERA. He ended up on the IL with right shoulder inflammation, and in his first start back, he pitched four shutout innings against the Dodgers.

The Mets have remained a contact team offensively, but unlike earlier in the year, the production isn’t there. Going into July 1, they had the fifth-best BABIP (.301) in the league, since then, it’s 26th (.267). Stroman is going to turn it up in this revenge game.

Bet: Mets vs. Cubs NRFI (-112 BetRivers)

What are Game Props?
Game props refer to wagers that bettors can make based on outcomes in a specific game. They cover a variety of outcomes from specific inning results, to margin of victory, to whether the first home run of the game will be a solo shot or a grand slam. Game props are the most plentiful prop options in the majority of sports.
