Game 4 is set to get underway in the Eastern Conference Final of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs as the Tampa Bay Lightning host the New York Rangers. Despite only one game today, there are still a couple of great angles to attack in the prop betting market.

Below, I give out my two best NHL player prop bets for Tuesday.

As a reminder, I am playing all player props for a half-unit each during the playoffs, or 0.5% of your betting bankroll. Follow me on Twitter to get all of my plays on days without full write-ups.

Bet $10, Win $200 if Either Team Score a Goal >>

Nikita Kucherov Anytime Goalscorer (+145)

The Tampa Bay Lightning look to even up the series at 2-2 following Sunday’s 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers. Not only did Nikita Kucherov score in that game, but he has registered a goal in each of his last two outings.

Kucherov should be a good candidate to back once again as the Lightning look to turn this series into a best-of-three. While betting on anyone to score against Shesterkin is always a tricky task, this number is over-adjusted due to that fact.

There is no denying the greatness of Igor Shesterkin and what he has done during this playoff run, but he has still allowed two or more goals in each game of this series. While that is not a bad number by any means, It shows us that It is possible to score on him and there is no better guy to back on Tampa to be the one to do It than Kucherov.

Corey Perry Over 0.5 Assists (+275)

If Kucherov is to score, It is entirely possible that It comes from the first power play unit as that is how he has scored in each of the last two games. Tampa Bay’s power play has done a tremendous job in this series, and that means Corey Perry could be in store to record an assist for a third straight game.

While Perry certainly will not be setting up anyone with a crisp tape to tape pass across the crease, he does a tremendous job of generating traffic and creating chaos in front of the net. Perry is especially great at doing this on the power play, which can lead to him creating rebounds off shots right in front of Shesterkin.

These odds are just way too long for someone who skates on a power play unit that boasts the names of Kucherov, Stamkos, and Hedman. Even if Perry is not involved in a goal in this game, odds at almost 3/1 to just get one assist is too long to pass up.

Best of luck!
